Rainbow wouldn't be as strong opinioned as Pearl or Rose, but she'd at least be conflicted. She's also half of Pearl, who definitely doesnt want Rose to die. I'm sure that because all of her fusions are part of her they would also be fine with dying to form Steven, but still.Įdit: and actually, I could feasibly see Rainbow Quartz not wanting to die. If she wanted to give her life up to create a human child then that's fine, but she brought down a whole squad of people with her. It also adds to the list of very morally grey things Rose has done. Fusions are unique individuals and are more than the 2 gems put together, because Garnet is obviously her own individual and not just Ruby and Sapphire mashed up. Of course the loss of Rose is the worst thing for the Crystal Gems, but they also lost a whole lot of other people with her. That also means that Rose's version of Smoky Quartz, Sunstone, Obsidian and any other of her fusions are all truly gone forever. Rainbow Quartz 2.0 himself is amazing, but his existence as an entirely unique fusion different from his predecessor Rainbow Quartz proves that alongside Rose, all of her fusions like Rainbow Quartz are also dead.
